Our three favorite Wedding Venues in 2017

Finally fully relocating to New England last summer, 2017 was a year full of discoveries. We explored all over, enjoyed weddings all the way down South in Rhode Island to up North in New Hampshire. This gave us ample opportunity to get to know quite a few magnificent venues and we want to share our personal favorites with you.

Aldworth Manor

What a wonderful location – nested in the hills of Southern New Hampshire, this gem combines magnificent surroundings with the rustic charm of a mansion built in the early 20th century. Now managed by the Long family, they took on the herculean task to renovating the property and opening it up for weddings. The adjacent farm buildings offer a lot of space to get ready on the day off and for your closest family and friends to stay for the days around your celebration.

Downtown Boston at its best – the Ritz Carlton right next to the Boston Commons is the perfect venue for your stylish city wedding. The beautiful facilities, unparalleled service by the experienced staff as well as the great location is hard to beat. As photographers we always admire how hard people in the background work to make everything perfect for their weddings couples and the reputation of the Ritz in these respect is indeed flawless. Thinking of a downtown wedding? We highly recommend it to check it out.

Hawaiian charm for your wedding day – back home in good old Maui, this family owned estate is surrounded by the ocean and an abundance of marine life right in front of it. This venue offers everything you need for your unforgettable wedding day. Perfect weather and sunsets are (almost) always guaranteed. There are amazing photo spots right around the corner, so you don’t even have to leave to capture the magnificent spirit of Hawaii.

Private Venues

I know, we already have mentioned three of our favorites, but couples who have the possibility to celebrate at a private property should also seriously consider this. While it can have some logistical disadvantages, arranging your wedding at a place you have a personal connection to, makes your day so much more intimate and unique. Maybe it is an option for you?
