It’s not every day that we get to photograph couples with strong Maui roots so it was a great pleasure to not only get to spend the day with Megan and Ikaika but also their Maui Ohana. Maui is a place with strong family roots and it was so much fun to be caught up in the hustle and bustle of family and friends!
A beautiful day up at the King Kamehameha Golf course with sweeping views of central Maui and Haleakala volcano we were treated to the cool mountain air amidst the sunshine. Ikaika serenaded his bride as she walked down the aisle with his soulful voice and I swear he didn’t take his eye off her once!!
A 1955 mustang for a wedding treat! We got to play around with this sweet ride before, we headed off to boardwalk beach for some portraits with the bridal party and the bride and groom! This Maui wedding had to hold a lot of guests but they also knew how to have a good time and it was a fun and energetic atmosphere that made the evening lively and full of joy! From a Banzai Toast to some amazing music from ….. it was such a perfect expression of Megan and Ikaika’s love for each other!
